Mike & I went to see Catch Me If You Can with a 96% "Fresh" rating from RottenTomatoes.com. I would have to agree with their rating - it was a good movie!

Mike, Jason & I went to see The Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers and it was nothing short of amazing! I would be willing to see it at least 2 or 3 more times on the big screen and it is on my "must own" DVD list too!

What a wonderful movie! I simply loved it. And John Corbett is *adorable*. I'm in love with him, almost as much as Luke Wilson. Stop laughing at me!

It was good, for the most part. Not a wise movie to pick when you're already tired - it moved slowly. The cinematography was wonderful, as was the acting. Will catch it again when it's on the movie channels so I can appreciate it more.

I went to see this with my Mom, which was pretty ironic because in some ways we have a relationship just like the main characters. The movie definitely deviated from the book, but it was still great. There were moments that the whole theater was laughing, and there were moments that I cried just because of the way that two characters were looking at each other. Good movie.

While in Boston, we went to see this movie. It was pretty good - entertainment you don't have to think about. After the hectic status of my life the days before, that was just what I needed.

I was curious about seeing Star Wars because there was so much hype about it when it was released. I know of people that have seen it 4 or 5 times even, if not more. And ... I still don't get it. Maybe I need to go back and watch the original movies (now 4-6) - I am the clueless one that didn't even know that Luke and Leia were twins after all.

Great movie! I liked the premise, the "With great powers comes great responsibilities." Also, the fact that Peter Parker is an outsider, the brainy kid that gets picked on - but he deals with it. The movie was also sad at times, but that's ok - that's life, isn't it? In the end, good movie and probably one that we will end up owning on DVD.

Took Jason to see the Time Machine. Full post about it here. Movie wasn't too bad, I've seen worse - but it could have been batter. Jason said it would have been better if they had followed the book more.

We went to see "The Lord of the Rings" and it was ... GREAT. Awesome. Wonderful. And while it was a rather serious movie, I had to laugh during the moment that made me think of Todd ... "No one throws this dwarf!" Such a serious, scary scene, I was practically sitting on the edge of my seat, and then that. I was the only person in the theater laughing of course, but there was no way that I could stiffle that one! Anyways, the movie was great. Really great. I can't even find the right words to explain how good it was, but I would definitely recommend it!

Quite a wonderful movie! As I wrote in the blog: A good story line, lots of laughs, a few tears. And it has the highest rating I have ever seen on Rotten Tomatoes with a 94% - Memento was a 93% and Amelie (which I want to see) is a 90%. Those are the three highest scores I have found there. This one (Monsters, Inc.) is definitely going on my DVD Wishlist!

I think I laughed throughout this entire movie. Chelsey & I went to see it at the theater by her house and we ended up sitting next to the ATTORNEY she works for! It was classic!

Considering this movie was targetted towards children because of it's genre, I thought the subject matter and the jokes were a bit "old" for some kids that were in the theater with us. Otherwise, it's a great movie and I think it really says a lot about human nature and how we interact with one another.

Love, love, love this movie. Love it. Love it. The first time I saw this movie, Naomi & I got to the theater late and we ended up sitting in the front row. It was like an amazing psychedelic trip (not that I would know what that is really like, but still...) with the brilliant colors and the fantastic music. The movie was so good I returned on June 26, 2001 to see it again! Then I bought the soundtrack and Kymberlie & I exchanged the DVD for our Christmas presents!

The bombing of Pearl Harbor scene was incredible. The story line sucked. Then again, I went to see this movie for my very last date with my insignificant other, so my opinions of this film will be forever biased.
